Back to work!

Jeremiah 29:11:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

So I thought about choosing a new verse for a new year, but ya know, this verse just speaks so clearly to me at this stage of my life that I’m keeping it.

This week I have to actively go back to work, and by that I mean actually go to the office, have meetings, etc. In addition, I’m starting a Trim Healthy Mama Fuel Cycle on Monday to try to shake off some of these stubborn pounds. I’m a little apprehensive since it’s the first week back at work, but there’s a HUGE group of ladies doing the Fuel Cycle together, and I really need the support and encouragement to get 100% back on track! My work focus this week: Prepping for a new semester

Meet with a few students
Complete analysis for manuscript in progress

My family focus this week: Establishing a workable routine
As we all head back to school, the boys and I need to find a good routine for both the mornings and the evenings.  I’ve been allowing myself to have lazy mornings on vacation, but now I need to get moving earlier and get the day started more successfully!

Enjoying my last few hours of vacation
Thankful that I made some yummy treats for the week
Eying the huge pile of clean laundry next to me

What I accomplished this week:
We rearranged the family room a bit
I did lots of laundry
I spent some quality time talking with P-Daddy

Menu Plan for the Week:
This is a Trim Healthy Mama Fuel Cycle menu plan, and days follow accordingly, where S = Satisfying, E = Energizing, and FP = Fuel Pull. Note that the Fuel Cycle is a pretty intense week that is meant for stubborn weight and is not intended for beginners. You can read all about the Fuel Cycle in Chapter 28 (starting on page 429) of Trim Healthy Mama.

Monday (Deep S)
B: 2 fried eggs, 2.5 slices of bacon, coffee w/ cream
L: Tuna salad with homemade mayo, zucchini chips, Shrinker
D: Pan-fried salmon on a bed of kale, Canary
Sn: S Earth Milk, skinny chocolate, cucumber slices, basic whey smoothie

Tuesday (Deep S)
B: Eggs scrambled with sauteed kale, Trimmaccino
L: Large salad topped with salmon, Canary
D: Steak, buttered broccoli, Wonderland Sip
Sn: S Earth Milk, cucumber slices, skinny chocolate, choco pudding

Wednesday (Deep S)
B: Omelette with pepper and kale, coffee w/ cream
L: Large salad topped with leftover steak, Wonderland Sip
D: Fish tacos (Salmon on wonder-wraps with cabbage), Canary
Sn: Cucumber slices, skinny chocolate, lemon pudding, basic whey smoothie

Thursday (FP)
B: Overnite oats with raspberries, Light Trimmaccino
L: 2 Wasa crackers with turkey and laughing cow, veggie mix, Wonderland Sip
D: Succulent citrus fish bake, steamed zucchini, Canary
Sn: FF greek yogurt w/ berries, grape tomatoes, celery

Friday (FP)
B: Chia tapioca pudding, Light Trimmaccino
L: Fish tacos (leftover fish on wonder wraps), Canary
D: Lettuce wraps with chicken breast, Fotato soup
Sn: Cottage berry whip, cucumber slices, light cheesestick, FSF

Saturday (E)
B: Trim Healthy pancakes, coffee w/ FF half n half
L: 7-layer-Southwest salad, Shrinker
D: Deutsche Kuche toast with Light tomato soup, club soda with lemon and stevia
Sn: FF greek yogurt w/ berries, carrots, cucumbers, pepper strips

Sunday (E)
B: Baked oatmeal, coffee w/ FF half-n-half (E)
L: Waldorf or Mexican cottage cheese salad, chicken breast, Canary
D: Lentil soup, steamed spinach
Sn: Apple w/ pb, celery, carrots,
